I love the convenience of being able to buy books online (and adjust the print size on screen to save my middle aged eyes). But I love bookshops more, especially the delightful, cluttered, small independent shops that you can still find in many UK towns. My favourite of all is The Open Book in Richmond-upon-Thames where I (and uncoincidentally my characters) live. If you are in the area do pop in and buy a book - any book, by any author - or a card.
