Thank you for visiting my page. I read lots of books. My favourite writers include Patrick Gale, Anne Tyler, Claire Pooley, Kate Atkinson and anyone who can write a gripping thriller - Linwood Barclay, Louise Candlish and Ruth Ware take up a lot of space on my kindle. I also still read my old children's books by Noel Streatfeild (Gemma), Enid Blyton (Famous Five) and Pamela Brown (the Blue Door theatre series).
My life is very ordinary. I hold down a job, meet friends, go to the cinema and the gym, sing in a choir, spend time with my family, try to eat more broccoli and less chocolate, and binge watch TV. I am lucky to love writing, which you can do on your own (although it's more fun in a group or class) and where you get to make things up.
I have one or two things in common with the main character in my book - we both like dogs and both try to avoid turning into grumpy old women. But Nina is not real. She is an imaginary friend who popped into my head several years ago. I am pleased that she has moved on now and like to think that she will live happily ever after.
I hope you have enjoyed following her story.
